What are the tools or methods that you use to facilitate and document proposal delivery feedback?
If you spend time gathering feedback and having lessons learned meetings it does not do any good if you don't use it down the road. It's important to review this material at the start of every new proposal to see if there's any recurring, or newly recurring issues that should be dealt with as early as possible.Upvote
-
What are the tools or methods that you use to facilitate and document proposal delivery feedback?
I'm a KISS type of professional. For this a basic SharePoint site that is easily accessible works great if you are doing your part and documenting lessons learned.Upvote
-
What are the tools or methods that you use to facilitate and document proposal delivery feedback?
After taking some 1-on-1 meetings (or emails) I like to compile that as a starting point to talk about what worked well and what did not and try to encourage open communication for more thoughts/ideas that might not have been shared or communicated or realized during the 1-on-1 sessions.Upvote
-
What are the tools or methods that you use to facilitate and document proposal delivery feedback?
Doing 1-on-1 feedback after a proposals is a great way to get independent (and non-attribution) feedback from folks to help build out your proposal after action report.Upvote
-
What are the tools or methods that you use to facilitate and document proposal delivery feedback?
APMP and Shipley both have good starting points. But you can always make your own based on the size/scope/complexity of your company/industry/deals.Upvote

You're drowning in a saturated direct sales market. How will you rise above your competitors?
This is where some Capture Management strategies can come into play. You can't go after 100% of the things 100% of the time. Have a process to identify the customer, competitors, requirements, etc. to figure out if it's even worth your time. #1 is customer intimacy. If you don't know the customer your just throwing quotes/proposals over the wall and wasting time money. Learn how to say "no" to get rid of the bad deals so you can focus on the ones you should really devote your resources too.Upvote

During the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Global Force Symposium and Exhibition, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, we debuted our new prototype 2.4m terminal and the Integrated Terminal Control Unit (ITCU). Jeff Paddock and Dean Hudson ensured that we had a primo booth to showcase the results. And, our GATR Business Development team, led by Jack Arnold and Nick Parisi, expertly conveyed the importance and operational value of these latest GATR capabilities. The new systems received rave reviews and generated great interest from many senior leaders, including Mr. Jeffrey White, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, and Major General Pete Gallagher, leading the Army’s Network Cross-Functional Team. We also showcased our 1.2m CSS VSAT terminal for the first time at a tradeshow. Responding to the Warfighter’s challenges with innovation and agility, delivering capability and owning the outcome, builds trust and helps us WIN THE CUSTOMER! I am very proud of this GATR Team!

Before Hurricane Dorian even struck the Bahamas, Cyrus Wilson & his team, including Steven Parry, were preparing GATR SATCOM terminals & associated electronics for possible deployment, ensuring all systems would be fully mission capable when needed. Naven Knutson worked with IntelSat to arrange for bandwidth on their new FlexOne HTS network & coordinated with organizations requesting support. Naven & Victor Vega then deployed to the NGO's forward staging base near Miami with several GATR terminals to augment those being shipped in. Naven worked with IntelSat to commission the terminals into their network, as Victor provided training and technical support to the users who would operate the systems. Sensing the need for additional assistance, Victor selflessly volunteered to fly into the Bahama with an NGO team, where he provided invaluable technical support. As a result, GATR had 5 terminals on the air within 72 hours, supporting Global DIRT, Task Force Rubicon and others. With Victor now deployed, Justin Greene flew in to help Naven commission additional systems. During this time, John Burger, a senior RF Engineer with GATR, provided 24/7 expert technical support on the dedicated Slack Channel, solving myriad issues before they could impact the mission. As has been the case since 2005 and the response to Hurricane Katrina, the entire team stepped up to support. Cubic Cares! GATR Proud!
